EUROKART-SIM PRESENTS THE STARS OF SIM-KARTING KF1 SEASON

04.23.08 - EuroKart-Sim Technologies is proud to present the 2008 Stars of Sim-Karting KF1 Season.  After a few months off the EuroKart team is ready to proceed in their Sim development program and Online Racing.  Matt Nevoso has teamed up with Gary Osterholt (www.godesigns.us) to setup the best online karting scenario from novices to experts.  The EuroKart website (www.eurokart-sim.com) is taking a new face with new rules, regulations, and an easy to navigate website that allows access to all the required downloads and installs with a click of a button.

The new season is being simplified based on many polls and opinions formed by the whole EuroKart team.  We will have a full schedule listed on the website by March 3rd, and the season will start on March 12th.  The new format includes fixed setups created by Champion Racing/Intrepid USA ICC driver Garret Napier and Pitts Performance Engine Builder Josh Robertson; the setups will be released the Monday prior to the season event and will be available for both download for offline practice and online via the dedicated Game Server.  The race format has also changed to shorten the time spent on a given night and to also accommodate sim-karters through both Pacific and Eastern Time zones.

Beginning at 8:45 PM Eastern Time, all the drivers will gather in our TeamSpeak server to here the latest news updates and for new drivers to get a basic understanding of how the race night will go. At 9 PM the karts will hit the track for a 30 minute timed practice session and immediately following will be a 15 minute open qualifying session to allow competitors to get open space on track and put down a quick lap time.   Following the qualifying session the drivers will meet back in the TeamSpeak lobby for a short 5 minute break before jumping into the 15 lap Pre-Final.  The races begin with 1 warm-up lap 1 pace lap and then a green flag for 15 laps.  Following the Pre-Final will be a short 5-10 minute break allowing drivers to get ready for the 22 lap Final which will complete the night.  All together the process should take about 1 and half hours, which is a lot more manageable than previous efforts.

On behalf of the EuroKart Team I would like to extend my thanks to all the supporters and competitors over the past 2 Years and hope everyone can come and enjoy a fun racing experience with fellow karters.  If you have any questions or concerns please email me at mnevoso@eurokart-sim.com and I will be happy to get back to you with any assistance required.  Registration is currently open and FREE so sign up for an online experience like never before.
